Mendoza. Scenescapes of mountain bruskly blow by, Argentian flag and white mountains in relief. 5 hour sleep puncutated waits at the freezing border, irritated commands to non responsive hostel staff. Confusion of hal fnaked British boys in your hostel room; neither distaste nor interest…. A nice wander around town, so infinitely Argentinian, precious and pristine, albeit its closer locale...

Easter, in negative relief
Santiago semana santa, a rather dry affair. Everyone scurries off to the campo, to escape the dirt and smog. The city left dead and listless, the air let out of a balloon. I wander the streets on Easter Sunday, a slight fall gloom beginning to croach in. The half deserted streets, a cloudy day, and a slightly random ennui.
